The conditions of entry state that you must abide by the following Terms & Conditions.
Competition Terms & Conditions
These Terms are set out specifically for the Photo Competition.
- The organisers is The South Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty
- All photographs must be taken in the South Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
- Each entrant must be the originator and owner of the copyright for all images entered,
- The competition is open to all amateur photographers (excluding the AONB service) and is split into two age groups - young people under 16 and adults.
- Entries may be colour or black and white.
- A maximum of 4 entries per competitor is permitted.
- Entries must be provided in a digital format either on disc or via this website (minimum resolution 1600 x 1200). Please provide a stamped addressed envelope if it is to returned.
- Photographs should have been taken since 1st January 2007
- The closing date is 30th April 2010.
- All entries sent by post must be accompanied by a completed application form, captions for each image, a signed terms and condition form and received by the South Devon AONB office, Follaton House, Plymouth Road, Totnes, and TQ9 5NE. Applications can also be made via the website.
- Entries may not be withdrawn once received.
- Entrants retain copyright of images but South Devon AONB reserves the right to use the image in publicity material for the organisation. Images will not be used for commercial gain.
- The panel of 3 judges professionally qualified will draw up the shortlist of entries
- The public will be invited to vote for their favourites on-line.
- Short listed entries will be exhibited at Harbour House Gallery Kingsbridge from July 6th - 18th 2010.
- The organiser's decision is final. The AONB reserves the right to change any aspect of the competition.
- All reasonable care will be taken of entries, but the South Devon AONB cannot be held responsible for damage or loss.
